This Generation*

We are already seeing teachers and preachers in the Church beginning to say that Jesus is not going to return, and that there is no rapture, or catching away, of the Church. They do this by taking scripture out of context, and by not teaching the full Word of God. There is a danger in denying the imminent return of Christ, especially as the signs around us are specifically pointing to this coming event. We are to be preparing ourselves for His coming, rather than denying it. The prophet Hosea warned that God's people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge, and for the rejection of the knowledge of God, thereby becoming disqualified to serve Him as priests (Hos. 4:6, Rom. 1:28-32). In fact, this has been one of the repeated messages of this ministry...that, and the call to God's people to turn, pray, repent, and seek God's face, in accordance with 2 Chron. 7:14.
Isaiah brought God's warning prophetic word regarding the condition of His people, and the consequences that would result from it:
"...My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill. And he fenced it and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it; and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes (worthless stinkberries)....What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it?...And now...I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it."   Isa. 5:1-6 (excerpt)
The LORD told Isaiah that this prophetic word was about His people, in this case, Judah and Israel. He expected to see noble grapes coming from His vineyard: Justice, and righteousness. Instead oppression, unrighteousness, greed, covetousness, drunkenness and festivals that have nothing to do with the LORD's holy feasts. The LORD concludes saying:
"...they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of His hands. Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Therefore, hell hath enlarged itself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it....Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope...Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter."  v. 13-20 (excerpt)
The LORD's description of His vineyard to Isaiah, very much mirrors the condition of God's people today. Sin is tolerated and endorsed for a reward, or a bribe (v. 23) even by the Church, and the knowledge of God's word has been withheld from, or misrepresented to His people. The people of God have become just as sinful as the world around them.
Contrary to some of the false teaching of today mentioned at the beginning of this entry, Christ clearly laid out the signs indicating His coming, and the end of the age (correct translation of the Greek), when asked by His disciples (Mt. 24, Lk. 21, Mk. 13). Jesus warned of deception, and claims of false Christs. Wars and rumors of wars, as well as racial conflict ("ethnos" is the Greek word used for nation), famines pestilences, earthquakes. All of these mark the beginning of the time of sorrows that precedes the coming of Christ, and the end of the age, and all of these we are seeing now. Persecution of believers, the increase of iniquity, and the love of many (for the Lord) growing cold because of it are also signs which we see today.
Even greater tribulation will begin at this point, according to Jesus, the likes of which has never before been seen in the world, nor will be seen in the future. It will be so severe that no flesh would be saved except the days are shortened for the elect's sake by the Lord (Mt. 24:21-22). People will run to and fro as false prophets declare that Christ has appeared "here!" or "there!". However, Christ said not to be fooled, and described His return that all will see:
"For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be....And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."  Mt. 24:27-31 (excerpt)
Jesus also pointed to the prophetic meaning of the fig tree in parables. It's budding marks the coming of a season (v. 32). The fig tree has always represented the nation of Israel in scripture, and that nation was miraculously and sovereignly restored in 1947. The restoration of Israel is yet another prophetic sign of the end of the age, and the return of Christ.
Jesus also mentioned the disappearance of people that He described as "taken". Some interpret this as the rapture of the church, but could there also be a "taking" of the wicked? It is mentioned in the context of those who ignored the sign of Noah, and his warning of the impending judgment to come. Those who ignored the warning were "taken" in the flood (v. 37-41).
Jesus said, "...when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." (v. 33-34). Which generation is Christ talking about? It is the generation that sees these signs begin to be fulfilled. From the description of the signs, this generation now, qualifies.
Christ's final words on the subject of His return, and the end of the age:
"Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come...Therefore be ye also ready...Who then is a faithful and wise servant whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing."  (v. 42-46, excerpt).
We are to feed the Lord's household, of which we have been given charge by Him, meat, meaning the complete and substantial word of God, especially in the current season. Don't accept any substitutes or counterfeits.

"It Is Done" *

Ezekiel chapters 36-39 prophesy events that we see beginning to be fulfilled now in these end times. Let us look at some of those events.
Ezekiel was told by God of the return of the dispersed people of Israel back to the land:
"For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you back into your own land... Ezek. 36:24
In 1948, we saw the restoration of Israel as a nation, and the continuing return to the land of Jews from all the nations. The LORD also prophesied abundant crops on land that had been desolate and waste (Ezek. 36:29-30, 35-36), and Israel has certainly made the desert to bloom with all of the produce that they grow in such abundance that it is not only enough for their own consumption, but enough also for export to other nations as well.
Concerning Israel as a nation, the LORD gave His word to the prophet that there are miraculous events still to come, of which we have not yet seen the complete fulfillment, but we do now see the foundation set, and ongoing fulfillment. The LORD speaks of the cleansing of sins, and a sovereign spiritual revival in the people by a work of His Spirit after the nation has been restored (Ezek. 36:25-28).
The LORD also speaks of a unification of "two sticks", that represent Judah and Ephraim (the half-Gentile son of the patriarch, Joseph), into one stick in the prophet's hand. This is not only speaking about a unification of what had been a divided nation of northern and southern kingdoms, but perhaps an even greater unification between Jew and Gentile in Messiah. We are beginning to see the evidence of this kind of unification even now. Messiah has a prominent role in the spiritual and natural restoration of Israel, according to the prophecies of Ezekiel. The spiritually cleansed, reunified nation will be under the rule of  one king, even David ("Beloved"). For us, we know that this king is the Son of David, Jesus the Messiah. We are also seeing the beginning of this prophetic fulfillment among the Jewish people now, with the existence of many Messianic congregations, proclaiming Jesus as Savior, Atonement and King:
"And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them...and my servant David shall be their prince for ever."  excerpt from Ezek. 37:22-28
In another identification with Jesus the Messiah, the LORD identifies Israel with the resurrection of the dead:
"And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, and shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD."  Ezek. 37:13-14
In a very disturbing account in Ezekiel, we see today's headlines come to life. The LORD names specific nations whom He will compel to attack Israel, for the purpose of coming into the LORD's judgment. Though this league of nations will come onto the land of Israel, they will be completely defeated. In Ezek. 38:1-7, the prophet is told to "set thy face against" the following nations: Gog, chief prince of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, all of which are associated with the nation of Russia. Persia, which is Iran, Ethiopia, and Libya, Gomer (southern Russia/Eastern Europe), and Togarmah (the nation of Turkey), and "northern parts" (Ezek. 39:1-2) are also part of this invading alliance. The LORD connected this invading alliance of nations with "the latter years". He prophesies to these nations:
"After many days thou (referring to the above mentioned nations) shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them."      Ezek. 38:8
The LORD describes His fury of judgment against these nations as coming in the form of a shaking of all creation, even with devastating earthquakes (Ezek. 38:19-20), sword (v. 21). pestilence, blood, overflowing rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone (v. 22). These nations shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, and upon the open fields, and the isles (Ezek. 39:2-6). These nations may come for spoil, but they will meet their fate in the LORD, instead. The LORD concludes by saying to His prophet:
"Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the LORD God; this is the day whereof I have spoken."  Ezek. 39:8
We see the fulfillment of this prophetic word given to Ezekiel in Revelation in the gathering of the kings of the earth to the battle of the great day of God Almighty (Rev. 16:14). They are gathered in a place called "Armageddon" (v. 16). Again, as in Ezekiel, a great voice from the throne of heaven declares, "It is done." (v. 17). Earthquakes, hail and exceedingly great plagues are released, as Ezekiel prophesied (v. 18-21). So great is the cataclysm, that the first heaven and the first earth are passed away, and a new heaven and earth are revealed, as well as the new Jerusalem, coming down like a bride adorned for her husband (Rev. 21:1-2). As Ezekiel prophesied the tabernacle of God among His people (Ezek. 37:26-28), we see the fulfillment of the promise in Revelation:
"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God."  Rev. 21:3
Just s Ezekiel wrote of Israel as the land of the resurrection of the dead, God says, "...there shall be no more death" (Rev. 21:4).
The assurance that "It is done" is once more given:
"And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write, for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athrist of the fountain of the water of life freely."  Rev. 21:5-6
As we see the ongoing fulfillment of the prophesies of Ezekiel in our headlines, it is time to prepare ourselves, and shout the warning to others. Even as Ezekiel was shown things that must have overwhelmed him, things that were for a time far beyond the time in which he lived, he was told to prophesy, and "to say". In God, these things are already done. In Jesus, these things are already done. For those who heed the completed work of God, the Lord says:
"He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I shall be his God, and he shall be my son."
                                                                                                                    Rev. 21:7

Revisiting "Back to the Garden: Taberncles"*

This message revisits the 2017 message titled, "Back to the Garden: Tabernacles", with current updates. The news headlines, particularly those dealing with Turkey (Togarmah in scripture: Ezek. 38), who is attacking and executing Kurds, the turmoil in the nation of Syria, and the lining up of the other nations mentioned prophetically in Ezekiel, now occurring during this fall season of the feasts of the LORD, should bring our attention to the meaning of these feasts in these end times.
The Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot, is the seventh feast, taking place in the seventh month, and lasting for seven days. We can see from this that this feast has a Sabbath rest significance. This Sabbath rest is associated with the Millennial Kingdom of Messiah. With our nation shredded from within, the Sabbath association with Tabernacles is very much needed at this time in our history.
Tabernacles is a feast of rejoicing in the LORD. The Jewish people build booths called sukkah, meaning tabernacle, tent or pavilion, from tree branches (see photo at the top of the page) to celebrate this feast. Seventy bulls were offered during this feast to represent the seventy nations of the earth, because God's Feast of Tabernacles will encompass every nation, according to the prophecies of scripture. In the Book of Jubilees it is written that Abraham celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles** before it was proscribed in the Law of Moses, to rejoiced and worship as God reaffirmed His prophetic promise and covenant with  Abraham.
Tabernacles is seen as the culmination of the will and word of God in the Book of Revelation:
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new...And he said unto me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son."
                                                                                                       Rev. 21:1-7
Along with this awesome fulfillment of the promise of the Feast of Tabernacles, however, the Lord also issues a grave warning:
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and the murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers (Grk- pharmakon: a drug, potion, druggist, poisoner, magician, magical remedies), and idolaters, and all liars (to speak deliberate falsehoods, deceive by falsehood), shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."   v. 8
Current headlines are full of the abundance of lies and liars. Politicians of all leanings and parties, news media, even religious leaders, are engaging in lies, each for their own advantage. Jesus made clear, above, the penalty for those who engage in the flood of lies that we are seeing in this time. We can also see how the recent headlines regarding pharmaceutical drug scandals, as well as the contamination of our food with chemicals, hormones, and harmful additives for profit are all relevant to this prophecy.
The Feat of Tabernacles is promised by, and in Christ. He is the fulfillment of the feast, as it is written:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."   Jn. 1:1, 14
The purpose of the Word who became flesh, Jesus, was to dwell in the midst of men, or tabernacle among them, where we could look upon Him.
A disciple asked Jesus how He will manifest Himself to them, but not to the world (the world cannot receive the Spirit of Truth: Jn. 14:17). Jesus answered:
"If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."  Jn. 14:22-23
We cannot enter the fulfillment of Tabernacles in just any manner. It requires us to love (Grk-agapao: to love dearly, have a preference for, to welcome, to be well pleased, or contented with) the Person of Jesus, and to keep His words.
David wrote about experiencing tabernacle with the LORD, a place of rest and protection, not just in a time to come, but now, during the days of our lives:
"One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD (refer to Jn. 1:14, above), and to inquire in his temple. For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD...When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek."   Ps. 27:4-8
Tabernacles is a provision for "the time of trouble", as David revealed. We are seeing that time now, that tribulation, as prophesied in scripture, in the signs around us. We enter into that Tabernacle, as Jesus pointed out, by believing and loving, and obeying Him and His word. David learned by revelation from God that tabernacle required him to "Seek my face". Jesus said in John 14 that He is the face of Tabernacles. He is the face, and Tabernacles is the place reserved for us in the time of trouble.
Balaam saw the pleasing tents of Israel, and could not curse them, though he was hired by a king to do just that. The day of judgment is coming, and the return of Christ is at hand. Jesus said if these days are not shortened, no flesh would survive. The Feast of Tabernacles is speaking to us of these things, and this time.

What's Next?*

We are looking at the soon fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets in front of us. At the sound of the great and Last Trump of God (Tekiah Gedolah) the moment of the catching away of the Bride of Christ will arrive:
"For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."   1 Thess. 4:15-17
During theses fall feasts, especially considering the signs of the End Times around us, we need to be preparing for what happens next in God's prophetic timetable. The Bride of Christ is to prepare for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb:
"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife hath made herself ready."  Rev. 19:7
The Bride is not ready to enter the Marriage Supper without her bridal garments of clean, fine, white linen, which is the righteousness of the saints. Our righteousness becomes our wedding raiment. With our obedience, Jesus establishes us in this His righteousness:
"To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints."  1 Thess. 3:13
We do not share a part of this Marriage Supper of the Lamb in just any spiritual condition, but rather as pure as a heavenly bride. We shall be shut into the bridal chamber, until the wrath of God has passed over those left on the earth:
"Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain."   Isa. 26:19-20
The word "chamber" used in the above verses of Isaiah, is the same word used to indicate a bridal chamber. The Lord Jesus has made the way for us to be protected from the coming wrath of God. Believers in Christ are not appointed to experience His wrath, however, those who do evil will see it (Jn. 3:36 1 Thes. 5:9). These feasts attest to the need for God's people to repent of evil, and come under the righteousness of Christ, wearing that clean white linen, prepared for the Marriage Supper.
This is a God-appointed time for Dr. Stevenson's book, "NAZAH: White Linen and the Blood of Sprinkling", to be available not only to the Church, but to the Jewish people who are observing these feasts, and would like to find their Messiah, Jesus: Yeshuah haMeshiach. This new book, Dr. Stevenson feels, is the most important work of his life. "NAZAH" is the culmination of having spent over forty years studying the Shroud of Turin. This white linen cloth is undoubtedly the burial cloth of a man crucified according to the descriptions in the Gospels, and forensic medical analysis. The use of such a burial cloth lines up perfectly with the Jewish burial customs of Christ's time. As testified by numerous scriptures, there is no doubt that this is the burial cloth of Jesus. Find out for yourself.
We would like to present this trailer about the book, "NAZAH". Please watch the trailer, order the book, and help get this book and its message to as many as possible. Now is the time, now is the season.
